Riding a Bike

Sometimes target shooting is like riding a bike.  You may not have done it for a while, but you pick it right back up and off you go.  Yesterday was not one of those days.  I did take some nice pictures though.

We were invited to try out a recently renovated sporting clays course so we went picked up a friend and went.  Turns out we knew most of the people there.  Clay target shooting is a small world.  We don't shoot sporting clays that often so if I get over 50% I'm happy.  It's generally a charity thing we go to or just for fun with friends so I don't mind if my score isn't that great because it's a compeltely different type of shooting than trap shooting.

It started out terrible for me and ended slightly better.  But I had a good time.  Brown Eyed Man is always good.  So is our friend Rick.  Rick had a spiders nest built up on the back of his shooting vest.  It had been that long since he shot and he still beat me.

We shot here a couple of times, years ago and it was beautiful then, but it's even better now.
This was my favorite part of the course.  I want our driveway to look like this:
We shot 150 targets and I hope I got at least half of them.  I never added up my score at the end.  It was a fun group of guys and they always make me feel like a part of the group, even though I'm the only girl.

This is was your Polaris looks like at the end of 150 targets between 4 people.  We had a lot of cleaning up to do.

See how my post had nothing to do with bikes, but you read it anyway?  I lured you in with the title.  Bait and switch, my friends.
