Lent?

Are you wearing your ash cross today?  I never have.  I think the kids may have as they went to Catholic school.  Neither Brown Eyed Man nor I grew up going to church so we didn't ever have to participate in such "festivities".  Sometimes, in the spirit of the seaon, I try to give up something.  Last year it was swearing.  It didnt go very #$%&!* well.  I think I may try that one again this year.  I was thinking about giving up wine but I just don't know.  Every once in a while I really want a glass of wine but I don't have it every day.  Whereas I swear every single day.

I think I'll go with swearing.  Happy Lent.
