Babysat Jenny Lin

That's me!  I'm 2 years and 9 months old and this is the first time I'm mentioned. In her defence, she didn't start this until 1972 and family business doesn't seem to be a big topic for her.   We'll keep a a tally.  I'm guessing my brother Tim or my cousin Cindy get the most references by the time were done:

4 below at 8 a.m.  Beautiful sunny morning.
Nice Christmas Eve - every body happy.

I don't know whether we were there or not.  It's weird to me that she doesn't mention who attended.  This makes me wonder who she intended to read these journals and what she though they would come away with.

Anyway, we celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve.  Santa comes in the morning and brings you a few things, but the supper and the major gift opening occurs the night before.  Maybe we went to my other Grandparents' place for Christmas Day.  I don't remember.

Monday, December 25, 1972
21 above.  Light dusting of snow.
First snowmobile ride.  Beautiful in the snow storm.  Quit snowing about 4.p.m.

Didn't she just say they went for a snowmobile ride on the 17th?  Maybe it didn't work out because the water pipe broke.

Tuesday, December 26, 2972
4 below.  Clear skies.
Complete confusion - Jenny to hospital at 12:30 a.m.  Croup - is o.k.  Discharged same day.

So, I was sick a lot as a little kid.  Actually, I'm sick all the time in one way or another.  Never anything normal like a cold.  Instead I get things where your spleen needs to be removed.

I do remember spending a part of my childhood in an oxygen tent of some sort.  Bubble girl.
