A Newer, Better Version of Jen

Remember a few weeks ago when I was talking with Clover about what a fat pig I am?  Well, guess who finally started to do something about it?

I've lost 4 lbs. in two weeks.  Nothing great, but I'm managing to stick to regular meals and weigh by portions, etc.  I'm also taking around 252 herbs and supplements.  Seriously, I have one of those giant pill containers:

That's just for my supplements and such.  I have a completely different, much smaller one for the prescription medication I take.  Now, I'm not 82.  As a matter of fact, I'm only 41.75.

Clover and I have been walking more regularly, which is a big obstacle.  I prefer to walk at the river so she's not on the leash, but since it's dark, we walk to neighborhood on leash and we're getting pretty darn good at it.  And by "we", I mean Clover.  We had to switch to a pinch collar.  Don't get all over me about that now either.  It used to think they were for pit bull owners only but this is the best thing ever.  It slightly pinches her and she backs off on the leash.  We even got The Brown Eyed Man to come with the other night.

So anyhoo...I'm 4 pounds lighter.  Haven't had any coffee or pop for 2 weeks.  I did have a little alcohol in Vegas...Feeling good about not so much my progress, but in my ability to stick with the plan.

Yay me.
