Tuesday Downloads

I'm all screwed up on the days of the week.  I woke up this morning and thought it was Sunday.  Yesterday I got almost nothing done.  I planned to put away Christmas but that didn't work out.  I did get some shopping done and bought my annual supply of Christmas wrap and tags.

My in-laws showed up to drop off gifts that we couldn't fit on our car.  The kids (who are 19 and 23) were about to come unglued because they couldn't take their new things home with them on Sunday and would have to wait all the way until MONDAY to get them.

We had a great weekend.  We started out in The Dalles at my parents place.  Woodrow got a guitar for Christmas so he played a little Pink Floyd for us.  Nothing says Merry Christmas like "Wish You Were Here".

The next day we went to My Sister-in-Law's house.  More gifts, more food. Left there by 3:30 p.m. and had the third and final Christmas celebration at our house with Berniece and The Boy's girlfriend.  It was so nice to be home.

So, since I was in a time warp yesterday I didn't download my phone so here we go:

1. I had a meeting out at Spirit Mountain Casino the other day and this was the sign for the VIP area right outside out meeting room.  VIP signed attached to a piece of plywood with electrical tape.  Yes!  VIP all the way.

2. Ashley, a long-time friend of The Girl got engaged!  She handed out programs at our wedding.  She's only 19, but if I had to put my faith into a 19 year old couple getting married and staying married, it would be these two.  We toasted with sparkling pink lemonade while they looked at Pinterest and planned.

3. Our Christmas Tree with a friendly deer looking down.  This is one of our best trees ever.  I love the Nordman tree and I love the place where we get them every year.  An old guy and his wife and grandsons run the place.  They have two big black labs that wear sleigh bells.

If you look at the top right side of the bookshelf, you can see Brown-Eyed Man's Creepy Santa.  It was a gift from his Great-Grandpa when he was only 6 months old.  He usually sits under the tree but Clover has a disturbing interest in Creepy Santa and we had to put him up on the shelf.

3. Mt. Hood just before sunrise on December 22nd, from the top of Powell Butte in Portland.  My job takes me to some beautiful places in Oregon and Washington and this was one of them.

4. My Christmas gift from The Girl.  A while back I asked her to draw a picture of Clover for me.  I knew she was very good at drawing, but I never expected this.  It is beautiful.  Her eye is absolutely perfect.  My only dilemma right now is where to hang it.  In my office or in the house.  I'm leaning toward office, but our laundry room is the dog photo room.  We even have a portrait of my Grandparents dog, Sam.

I posted these on Facebook and three people have asked her to draw their pets.  And offered to pay!

5. My new toaster oven!  It has a ridiculous amount of programming options.  So far I have made...wait for it...toast.

6. A video of Clover "playing" with Sweety Kitty.  I can't figure out how to transfer this video and the sound too.  The sounds really makes the video.  You'll just have to imagine it.
