During my time out on the job-site I not only get more exercise, but I also eat better. I pack my lunch every night. I make sure I have three 50 oz. bottle of water and I make myself drink one on the way to work, one before lunch and one before I leave the site. Then I have 150 oz. in. I also spend a lot of time in the restroom...
Since I'm packing my lunch, I can make sure to follow my plan and not stray. I can only eat what I have brought. Once in a while, someone drops by with doughnut or tacos or pizza. Usually a vendor. I will eat pizza, but I've managed to stay away from the other two.
BUT, back in the main office, I can easily leave and get something for lunch. If I'm too lazy in the morning, I know I won't starve because there are myriad restaurants and stores nearby. There is always the temptation to go for teriyaki or burgers. Someone is always going out for lunch.
The men I work in the field with eat everything under the sun. They also move all day long and burn about 45 times the calories I do. I need to find a way to eat and move like I do in the field when I'm in the office. It's so warm and cozy in there though. I love my space heater and the fresh coffee.
Dilemma I guess.

Oh I hear you sister...men's metabolism is something I've envied my whole life. That and the fact that I got the sturdy Viking genes while my mom, aunt, sister, etc got the tiny little bird frames of my Mom's side...Led to all kinds of trouble for me...put Sara in my search box at Life is Good and you'll see...
