Well, the Brown Eyed Man and I went to my least favorite place in the world...Las Vegas...for a week. But I have to admit that this was the best time I've had there since we've been going. We planned a few extra days to explore off the the strip. I'm seriously thinking that the next time I go, I will book a place off the strip and rent a car. The savings in food and hotel will probably pay for the car. Hate. The. Strip.
We rented a car for two days prior to the show and drove out to Hoover Dam and Boulder City one day and Red Rock Canyon the next. I loved them both. You know what would be great? Being able to post some of our pictures. Did I lose my picture privileges?
The SHOT Show was amazing. We got to see old friends, meet new people, get some business done both for our business and for our trapshooting group. We had some great dinners and did a little more sight-seeing on the strip. It was only about 30 degrees there most of the week. Not bad if we were home because it was 22 when we left, but we were in Vegas! I was expecting a little more warmth. I wore the same turtleneck for three days because it was the only sweater I brought.
Alright, I need to do some investigating and see why I can't post pictures.
