Today, I'm exceptionally irritated by the ignorant comments of Bob Costas and those who support gun bans. I'm not going to get into it in depth, because I would have to drag out several books in order to back up my points but let me just say this: If that man had no gun, he would have found a way to kill Kasandra Perkins. I wholeheartedly believe that.

I also have a meeting with a state agency who wants to change some rules to fit their needs and they are asking a board that I chair to do it for them. I take our mission on this board very seriously and their particular request goes against that mission. To make matters worse, they have spread misinformation to other public agencies and trade groups in an effort to gain backing for their position. As I go over the information and the letters I've received leading up to this meeting, I can feel my blood pressure going up.
Time to simmer down.
