4 bottles of wine + 1 Sunday afternoon + 3 girls= Bad idea

My girlfriends and I decided to get together this weekend since we hadn't for quite a few months.  "We'll drink a little wine and chat", I said.  Yeah right.

4 bottles of wine, 5 hours and about 4 pounds of cheese and crackers later...we were drunk.  I think we got a lot of chatting done.  Who knows?

I haven't been blogging lately as I'm been working on three different projects and I'm using every bit of spare time I can find to do them.  Brown eyed Man needs packaging made for his gun cleaning rods.  I put this off for a while and Saturday decided to knock them all out at once.  Assembly line style.  Unfortunately, my sewing machine is dangerously close to my computer and the television so I got a lot of Facebook-ing done and watched The Count of Monte Cristo too.

I'm making a quilt for Boy for Christmas.  It's made from old Pendleton shirts, some of which belonged to my Grandpa and possibly my Dad.  Like a genius, I decided that 4 inch squares were a good size.  Did you know it takes 806 4 inch squares to make a queen sized quilt?  I did not.

Lastly, I'm crocheting an afghan for Girl.  It's hard to find time to work on this one because I can't do it when she's home.  Fortunately, basketball practise started last night so I'll have a few extra hours to get that done during the week.

I know my various crafting activities are riveting to the ZERO people who read this blog, but that's why I haven't been on here for a while.  That and the fact that I have very little to report about my life.  If there were anything interesting, I probably forgot about it after drinking 4 bottles of wine.
